Fundal rupture in primigravida
I had stillbirth during 32 weeks due to Fundus rupture of the uterus, this is my first pregnancy and all the reports are normal (NT, Anomaly, Growth). my doc said every reports and scans are normal. I felt good kicking upto night 11pm previous day and in the next day early morning, felt a sharp pain around the umbilical cord. On ultrasound the doctor confirmed the intrauterine fetal demise and the reason is told as tight cord around the neck. But after the c-section, doctor said the uterus is ruptured in the fundus region. Everyone even doctor is shocked about the condition as she claims fundus rupture in primigravida is very rare. The only history we had is that I undergone laproscopic cyst removal in ovary, that is due to endometriosis. post the surgery, we got pregnant in 3 months. is that the reason for uterus rupture by not providing sufficient time to heal after the laproscopic surgery ?
