My 4year baby fall down today front teeth broken nerve visible . Dental doctor suggested root canal treatment . Root canal is compulsory ? ? Plz suggest me I don ' t want root canal treatment for my baby .

If it's upper teeth better to go for pediatric RCT , if lower decide it after taking an x-ray

as nerve is exposed rct is needed to relieve pain . these teeth will fall around 6-7 yrs of age so we need to preserve them till then so the permenant teeth comes in proper alignment . dont worry little kids also undergo rct it very normal

Though they are milk teeth but nerves are exposed so it needs rct treatment. Milk teeth serves as a guidance path for permanent teeth so it is suggested not to be extracted before their natural shedding time.
As the front teeth is broken exposing the nerves it needs to be rct treated.
If nerves were not visible they can be just filled
it is better you go for a root canal tratment for your kid if your pedodontist say so.(not regular dentist). Because there are two scenarios. on X ray if root is fine, root length is optimum and no fracture or mobility , then root canal is must. if mobility or fracture then extraction
