Babies up to 3-4 months of life can pass 10-12 motions a day OR pass one motion after 3-4 days. BOTH are normal as long as stools are soft and formed. Give only breastfeeding at a gap of at least 2-1/2 to 3 hours, nothing else by mouth and maintain strict hygiene in giving feeds.
