Cough and fever are usually viral infections picked up from other children by direct or airborne spread. Children develop immunity to these strains of viruses , and they are part of growing up .
Please see that all childhood vaccines are given including optional ones including the flu vaccine, yearly.
Also if the child is undernourished or anemic, that should be attended.
Vomiting may be due to the severe cough or due to reflux. It can be controlled by controlling the cough. Please visit your Paediatrician for further management, and avoid self medication.
