My son is blinking his eyes more frequently since past ten days. He says eyes are burning. It occurs mainly when is outdoor during daylight and while watching TV. I need a suggestion as to what might be the problem and does it require medical treatment,

Yes, definitely he needs medical attention. He may be having a refractive error or any other condition causing the symptoms you mentioned. Best way  is to see an ophthalmologist to rule out that.
