Hello doc i am 18 yrs old and i have a tight forskin, I can musturbate but I feel pain whenever I retract my gland I am really afraid and worried was this will affect in intercourse I need help

Thank you for asking. I can understand the your concern. A tight foreskin is an indication of a condition known as Phemosis. Beacuse the foreskin opening here is constricted, the smooth sliding movement of foreskin on penis shaft, which normally happens, is not present. Resulting is difficulty in retracting the foreskin backwards. It may cause discomfort while sexual intercourse, masturbation, etc. If left untreated, it may pose a risk for frequent penile skin infections. It is primarily a surgical problem, and therefore the management is also surgical.
