Formula feed for 3 month baby
Hi doctors i was exclusively breast feeding my baby till 1 month after her birth but she was crying very badly so pediatrician suggested to express milk and see if am producing enough since my supply was on lower side he asked me to formula feed whenever she used go cry after breastfeeding but due to severe mental stress of personal life my Brest milk production is getting lesser & lesser and 90% of time i am giving her similac stage 1 Will it affect her development because she is mainly formula fed ? Am getting anxious as nothing is helping my production inspite of taking galact granules too Is exclusive formula feeding safe ?

It is a safer alternative. Also, if bottle feeding, maintain the hygiene of it. Do not stress out, talk it out

Yes your baby will do well on formula milk too. Monitor her weight and please take care of your health too. Post natal depression and stress are real things and don’t hesitate to take appropriate medical help. Your baby thrives only if you too are stable

Yes, exclusive formula feeding is safe. Modern formulas like Similac Stage 1 are designed to meet all your baby’s nutritional needs. Your baby will grow and develop well as long as she’s feeding well, gaining weight, and meeting milestones. Breastfeeding is ideal, but your mental health and baby’s nutrition are both important—so don’t feel guilty. You’re doing great by ensuring she’s well-fed and cared for
