Hello parent
There is nothing to worry about it..All wounds eventually heal by their own if we keep it clean.
The healing might take a week or two..n the child might get a scar
For cosmetic reason..she might need revision of scar which can be done at a later stage in a planned manner - Preferred
Or u can get suturing done now that f the bleeding is bothersome
Next Steps
Don't dress the wound..keep it open
Wash the face with plenty of water atleast three times a day ..so dat dirt can't stick to the wound
Clean the wound with betadine solution and apply neosporin ointment after patting it dry
if there is bleeding press it with clean cotton cloth.. preferably wet for 3 minutes..Do not use cotton
Share the pic n see a Pediatric/ plastic surgeon preferably
Health Tips
Avoid direct injury to the area
