Foods taken for Sore throat: **Fruit based sherbet,popsicles,plain ice chips **pomegranate juice,Bananas **chicken soup **sage **Turmeric **Honey **Ginger **Tea **smoothies,yogurt **well cooked vegetables like carrot,cabbage,potatoes **scrambled eggs Foods to be avoid: **citrus fruits **crunchy hard food **sour,prickled food **Tomato juice,sauce **spicy foods **Alcohol **Tobacco Additional measures: ** salt warm water gargling... **cough drops **pain killers sometimes Dry mouth may cause throat dryness

if dryness is minor then do not worry it can not be dangerous. but if itg persist then you should consult your near by dentist.
