Food for cat
A stary mother cat always visits our home. One day we gave her milk from that day onwards it drinks only milk or curd (twice or thrice in a day)and nothing else(like rice). So is milk or curd good for the cat or shld we stop giving her this and what alternative we can try.

Care AI Shimmer
hi , you are caring for Stray mother cat, that's really great! While milk and curd are not inherently harmful in smal amounts, they are not nutritionally complete for a cat. Many adult cats are lactose intolerant, meaning too much milk can cause digestive issues like diarrhea. Curd(yogurt) is generally easier to digest but still lacks essential nutrients.
Next Steps
Since she relies on you for food,,,it's best to offer a more balanced diet. some gud alternatives are: 1. Protein-rich food : Cats are obligate carnivores, meaning they need meat. Cooked chicken, fish, or egg (without seasoning) would be ideal. 2. Wet cat food: If posible, provide canned cat food, as it's nutritionally complete and easy to eat 3. Dry cat food (kibble): If she eats kibble, ensure fresh water is available.(Farmina, Whiskas, Drools, Friskies, Royal canin and many comercially available brands available in mkt). 4. Gradual transtion : If she's refusing anything other than milk/curd, try mixing a small portion of new food into her curd and gradually increase it. 5. Hydration: Always provide clean water, especially if reducing milk intake. Multiple water bowls at diff places helps. running water is something they love enjoying..
Health Tips
Since she’s a mother cat, she needs extra nutrition for herself and her kittens. Ensure proper diet,,it will help her stay healthy. Finally, see a vet one-on-one and get proper guidance if you have more queries..thanks hope this helps a bit..Regards-Dr. Sandeep Yadav
