Follicle developed as cyst
Had genital TB six years ago. TB was cured completely and I had laparoscopy recently to check the tubes and every thing looked fine and doctor told we can try with timed intercourse with ovulation induction.I am PCO and have undergone ovulation induction with letrozole or clomid for past 5 cycles and ovulation happened with no positive pregnancy test. One cycle ended up as chemical pregnancy. And the present cycle I took clomid from day 2 to day 6 from LMP and hmg 75 iu on day 3 and day 5. Doctor has also included coenzyme q10 tablets this cycle to improve my egg quality. On day 10 dominant follicle of size 22mm was noted on left ovary. Doc gave hcg 10000iu injection and after 36 hours follicle was not ruptured completely and mild free fluid was noted, so we have done IUI.on the next day when scan was done it showed free fluid but follicle has developed as cyst. Does this mean ovulation has happened and is there a chance for pregnancy in this cycle. My husband semen analysis isnormal

If free fluid was noted then follicle was ruptured or was about to rupture. In either case your doctor has taken the right decision. Chances of conception are there..but its only 10 to 16 percent with IUI.
