Fluquadri is inactivated influenza vaccine. It means it will not cause infection yo child as it is not a live virus. Only live virus can cause infections. In some vaccines , live virus which is attenuated ( made very weak) is given , which will not cause disease, but will activate body's immune response.
Flu virus changes its characters with time( antigen drift and shift) . Flu vaccine need to be given yearly as recommended by experts to protect ourselves from changed virus in environment.
In my opinion, it may be some another infection that has affected your child. Very Rarely vaccine can also cause issues by activating harmful immune response.
You Can safely administer flu vaccine to your child. Our body will be prepared to fight infection effectively
