Fluctuating Fever - My Son Having 99.5 F Fever Yesterday Night.

My son having 99.5 F fever yesterday night. Consulted doctor and got Calpal and Meftal P. Given Calpal, fever reduced but after few hours again increased. Can you suggest how to handle the fever.
