First Pregnancy Planning

Asked for Female, 29 Years

I have been married since 1.5 years, now planning to conceive. I never took any pregnancy control pills, only followed precautions. Now i am ready to get pregnant and already consulted my medication with doctor. But i want to know if there is any medication suggested for my husband for healthy sperm and how to follow that?

To know how healthy the sperm is ,can be told by doing a semen analysis ..since you are planning for your pregnancy now and have already visited your doctor ,just follow timed intercourse (sexual contact on alternate days from day 10 to day 20 of your menses )for 3 months ..if not conceived even after 3 to 6 months ,you may need the work up .hope you have been started on tab folic acid ..
