Fever_Urine test_kid
My brother's kid 1 yr age having only fever since 3days. It reducing after syrup taken and again coming every 6 hrs. Urine tests complete urine examination done. In that Pus cells are 3-4 and Bacteria is present. Could u plz tell us any thing to danger in health.

Pus cells more than 5 indicates infection in urine. So ur test is normal.but if fever doesnot come down by 4th day i would suggest to go for blood counts which will give u evidence whether to start antibiotic or not.bcz usually viral fever peak on 2nd & 3rd day starts coming down by 4thday.

Nothin don worry. 3 to 4 pus cells is normal... if fever persists more than 5 days.. do blood counts and urine culture sensitivity
