Hi.How is the baby in between fever episodes? In children we find that the head remains warm the most this is due to larger surface area as compared to rest of the body.So don’t worry. For treatment you can monitor her temperature every 2 hourly,if the temperature is more then 100F then give her paracetamol syrup 3.5 ml,do tepid sponging with tap water and make sure you hydrate your daughter well.Normal viral fever also take 2-3 days to settle.Get her examined by the paediatrician if things don’t settle.

First of check the temperature with a thermometer. If temperature is more than 100F give syrup paracetamol (according to weight). You can repeat paracetamol every 6 hours if fever persists.
Next Steps
if temperature is more than 102, sponging will help. if fever persists beyond 2 days proper consult will be better.
Health Tips
watch for any other issues with fever, like cough cold.
