Fever in baby
Hello , Since my infant has had a low-grade fever of 99.4 F for a few days, I was told to give him 100 mg of Calpol every six hours.  Fever will go down if I take 100 mg of Calpol at.7 months, and it will reach 99.1F if I cease.  I was prescribed the following medication for five days by my pediatrician when I saw him. Novamox CV 91.4 mg. Each eight hours, 0.5 ml  DS syrup Meftagesic (1 milliliter every six hours) Is it okay that I took an hour's break between these medications?

it's okay to maintain gap between medication. Usually temperature of less than 100 is not significant. Still, if the fever is more than 5 days, get blood investigation done for CBC, CRP, Dengue. Rather than giving antibiotics blindly, better to evaluate so that we can guide the treatment in a proper direction. Are there any other associated complaints other than fever.
