Hey, my 4 month old child has fever. I checked the temperature and the thermometer showed 100.1 F to 98.3 F in the evening.
I gave medomol drops once in the afternoon and once in the evening, for the fever to subside but it is coming back again.
Baby is feeling very tired and sleeping unusually most of the time and he is very cranky since morning.
Can someone please help me in this situation?

Greetings
Because a four-month-old infant presenting with a mild, low-grade fever of 100.1°F paired with atypical behavioral shifts—specifically being unusually sleepy, lethargic, or excessively irritable—shares characteristics with early systemic illness, it is crucial to skip home observation and schedule an immediate, in-person pediatric evaluation so that a licensed physician can comprehensively assess the child’s feeding efficiency, hydration parameters, respiratory mechanics, and perform a physical exam to locate any underlying source of infection
A temperature of 100.1°F is a mild fever, but in a 4-month-old baby the associated symptoms are important.
Since your baby is unusually sleepy and irritable, I would advise a pediatric examination to assess feeding, hydration, breathing, and look for any source of infection.
Go see your pediatrician
Dont worry most of the fevers are Viral fever only . They stay for atleast 2-3 days so meanwhile you can give same paracetamol drops every 6th hourly if temperature present
