Fever for long time
My daughter is 15 months old having mild fever 100.4 to 100.7 for past 5 days, taken blood test report was fine, she got cold and having cough, but in the 5th day fever temperature has gone up to 102.4, doctor has prescribed to  give p120 and contus, what would be the cause of such fever, still fever have not came down but cold has reduced and cough too.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely. If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
