Hi,
My daughter is 13 month old and she is having fever ranging from 99. F to 102 by night. She is already on Calpol syrup and Ibugesic syp. I wanted to know what to feed her for dinner. Because yesterday night she was very irritated and didn't sleep properly for whole night. She is active however and no other symptoms.

Kindly check temperature every four hour and record it in a separate sheet to see the progress of fever. Paracetamol is preferably given every 6hours or atleast 4hours of gap between two doses. Give paracetamol with food. Avoid ibuprofen as its use in viral illness may be harmful. Regarding diet - give her steamed home cooked diet like rice porridge, idli, curd rice, idiappam. If she refuses to take solids give her semi solid diet.
Next Steps
if fever persists, child activity is dull or poor feeding pls consult near by paediatrician
