My baby is exactly 22 months old, he's around 12.5 kg last month during my ped visit, he had fever around December 5th it was accompanied by loose stools, doctor gave medicine and it was settled, again yesterday he got a temperature of 100.4, managing it with meftal and paracetamol, now the temperature is 100.9. my son has a habit of putting things in mouth constantly,. He had a episode of febrile seizure when he's exactly 1 year old. Please tell me if it's worrying. Thank you doctor's!!

Dont worry most of the fevers are due to Viral infection, it will stay for 2-3 days. Your doing excellent job by giving syrup paracetamol and meftal. Do sponging also in case high fever present. Your so had febrile earlier so you need to give tablet frisium 5mg half of the tablet morming and night for 3 days whenever he gets fever to prevent seizures. Putting things in mouth is their natural behaviour it will disappear as the age increases.
