Fever and often throw ups
My daughter ishita (4 y/o) has fever from past one week or so...we did a couple of blood and other tests by which we noticed that her wbc count which was 8800/cu.mm a week ago has now increased upto 10400/cu.mm. our family physician has recommended us to hospitalize her but she's too young for it and never had such kind of experience or history of such things...so please help us with the same...thanks

Hello.. Well if the wnc count is increasing it means that there is underlying infection..she needs to be started on antibiotics for it ..about admission I would like to say that if the child is not feeding well, dull, continuous fever etc...then better to hospitalise..if not then make sure sh e is eating well hydrated ...thank you
