Fever aftr vaccination OPV-1,IPV-1,Penta
I have a child of age of 2 month old, Today, Pentavalent vaccination have been taken  after that he is crying to much and also have fever more than 100 F. He is very silent today not playing Also have fever what to do. I am giving him a paracetamol Syrup 125 ml every 6 hours approx 2ml. Please suggest a part from what action to be taken to relief my child

Pentavac vaccination mostly causes pain,fever,redness and restlessness.Do not worry.Keep cold sponging by ice 2-3 times. Tomorrow if there is swelling may do hot fomentation.

A slight fever, pain and tenderness are common side effects of this vaccine.  Check the site of injection for infection if the child is cranky
