Fever - 14 months old
My son aged 14 months is continuously having fever for 3 days. I am to giving IMOL syrup 3ml. After giving medicine fever gets reduced fully and again after 6 hrs fever is coming. He is going motion also many times per day. Motion is coming as semi liquid with light yellow colour. And he is not having solid food. He just drinking mother's milk and normal milk. Pls advise..

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
Use paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hourly if required.
Stop bottle feeding and breastfeeding,give just 2 milk feeds using a glass and 4 solid meals a day including curd and Banana in the diet.
Give ors after every loose motion if watery and add syp vizylac twice a day for 5 days.
