Fetal Heartbeat
We did transvaginal ultrasound 2 days back under doctor advice,  and in the report it was mentioned as below 1. Gestational sac seen in upper endometrial cavity towards right, eccentrically placed gestational sac . It is seen to be embedded in endometrial cavity . 2. Gestational sac measured 7.6mm 3. Yolk sac and fetal pole seen 4. Fetal biometry CRL - 1.7mm (6W 1D) mediscan. 5. Cardiac activity not seen at present . 6. Approximate gestational age 5 to 6 weeks . Need to assess cardiac activity after 2 weeks . My query is , is this abnormal if cardiac activity is not present at 6weeks 1 day .? Pls advice. This is first pregnancy.

Heart beat usually comes in between 6 to 7 weeks. and it's 6 plus 1 weeks at present.. so we can wait for another few days.

No. Cardiac activity is seen at 4mm CRL generally. This is an early pregnancy. So you have to repeat it to see cardiac activity.
