Fetal Growth
My wife is 33.5 weeks of pregnant as per LMP. Today we went for check up and doctor told baby weight is 1.9 kg and head & legs shows growth of 33 weeks , but tummy shows only growth of 31 weeks . Is that can be increased in coming weeks .. this is worrying me lot and please advice . This is our first baby . Doc advice her to take more protein food .

It's called fetal growth restriction Does she have high blood pressure or any other medical issues? nothing to worry this is a case of fetal growth restriction you should be more careful regular monitoring of material blood pressure is needed,lie down in Left lateral side, drink adequate water and fluids, take high protein diet , regular watch for baby kick counts is require, regular follow up with your gyanaecologist
