I was 20 week pregnant and in level 2 I was told any has tibia haememilia.i have a healthy daughter aged 5. I had fever during 13th week of pregnancy and platelets were reducing however dengue test was negative . What are the chances of recurrence in next pregnancy.

Tibia haememilia s congenital absence of tibia , or deformity in tibia.. It cn be associated with other birth defects too.. Also association has been seen with syndromes like charge syndrome etc.. Most cases are sporadically seen..so chances of it occurring in nxt pregnancy are xtremely rare.. Still its advisable to consult a genetist in your nxt pregnancy.. Also for this baby you cn consult a pediatric orthopedician who cn advise as to how much deformity ll the child have and whether or not termination is advisable..
