ECG and 2-D echo cardiography suggests resting cardiac status, for evaluation of exertion related symptoms you will need a TMT for further testing. Since the symptoms are only exertional TMT should be adequate and assessment of angina will be done. If you have risk factors like diabetes BP cholesterol or family history of cardiac disease or addiction, if TMT shows any positivity you might be subjected to a further invasive cardiac evaluation.
