Feeding schedule
My son is 4 months 25 days old. He weighs 7 kg. he is completely top feeding. He is talking  100 ml per 3 hrs. I used to feed him in mights  while he was asleep to maintain the schedule but was told by his doctor not to give feeding in the middle of the night as the stomach should be empty for 6-7 hrs for good digestion. But will this less feeding have effects on his weight gain? should i stop giving him feed in night? please advise.

Your child is doing very well. His weight is good . A 4 month old baby may need a feed or two at night to maintain his glucose levels as his insulin levels and liver maturity has not reached to optimal levels. . Maybe once he is 6 to 7 months you can stop waking him up.
