My baby is 25 months old. Taking 4 proper meals a day. He needs little milk to fall asleep. At day time and before night bed time I am giving him boiled cow milk while falling asleep but he wakes up once or twice at night and ask for milk. That time I am giving him formula dexolac stage 4.
Can I continue giving him dexolac 4 at night if he wakes up for milk as dexolac4 is for 18-24 months and he is already 25 months old. Please suggest.

Over the next week, gradually transition from formula milk to buffalo milk.
Avoid offering milk during the night and work towards discontinuing night-time milk feeds.
Minimize bottle feeding and encourage drinking milk from a cup or glass.
Next Steps
A proper developmental assessment is recommended to evaluate growth and developmental milestones.

Greetings
continue using Dexolac Stage 4, but transitioning away is best since he has passed the 24-month target age. At 25 months, his four solid meals provide ample nutrition, making overnight formula feeds medically unnecessary for hunger. His night waking is likely a comfort habit tied to the routine of falling asleep while drinking milk.To gently stop this, try offering a few sips of plain water from a cup when he wakes up instead of formula
Yes, you may continue Dexolac Stage 4 for a short period even though your child is now 25 months old. There is no harm if a small amount is being given occasionally at night.
However, at this age, formula milk is not essential. If your child is eating 4 proper meals daily and growing well, plain cow’s milk can be continued.
Gradually try to reduce night-time milk feeds.
