Sir, My uric acid level was 7.9 sometime I had experienced gout attack , my local dr advice me to take febuxoxtat 80 mg . I have been taking this medicine for one months, now my uric acid level reduce to 3.2 .then , My dr suggest me to take 40 mg . My question is that should I take febuxoxtat 40 mg even though I have low uric acid level. please advice.

When it is coming in range..reduce the dose and check ..and maintain the levels less then 6
