Dear Practo user, Disturbance in any organ in the abdomen may be responsible for false pain. There is no hard and fast rule regarding baby movements at 9 months. Rough calculation is one movement in one hour or 10 in 12 hours. If there is significant decrease in movements from the past, it warrants urgent consultation by Obstetrician.
