Laser treatment surely works for hirsutism though the first line is medical treatment. Its important to find out the cause which in most cases is PCOS. A detailed history and a few lab tests are needed to establish the diagnosis after which treatment can be started. If its PCOS just removal of hairs won't cure the disease and it might affect fertility in future.
