Screen time, I suppose is a necessary evil for your job you can do the following to help yourself Rule of 20 - after every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and look at a distant object 20 feet (6 meters) away. Maintain a straight-back posture while using the computer, with no slouching Blink more often. Sit away from direct dry air from ac and fan.
Next Steps
consult local ophthalmologist annually.

Screen time definitely strains your eyes. But you cannot avoid that. Close your eyes for 20 seconds after every 20 minutes of screen time. This will give you some relaxation. Use refresh tears or any other lubricating eye drops 2-4 times. Take good nutritious diet , proper sleep and keep yourself well hydrated. Your number should be stable by 25 yrs of age. In some people with pathological myopia the number increases beyond 25 yrs of age.
