Eye stye not healing

Asked for Male, 31 Years

I got eye stye 10 days back. I took medicines and antibiotics for it. Even though i dont feel pain but swelling hasn't reduced. I think pus has not drained out. What can be done?

Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.If these measures don't give you relief you should consult ophthmologist nearby .
