Eye sight problem
Hi, For a few months, I'm seeing star bursts and hallos. im a contact lens user about 3-4 hrs a day. Visited a hospital they said your right eye has retinal hole and a laser is needed. they gave drops and informed i have dry eyes was d reason for the hallow and stars. Used it for 2 weeks but no improvement. Not yet done the laser it seems scam is it true? woulsu recommend changing hospital? let me knoa.. thank u for taking time to read this..

Hello There are two issues A.  Halos and stars could be due to dryness For that, avoid contact lens for some days, cold compresses and use lubricating eyedrop frequently B.  For retinal hole... Need for Laser depends on treating ophthalmologist.... Some holes need laser and others not

If you do have a retinal hole or break and your symptomatic for the same I would highly recommend undergoing a laser. This is different from the laser used to correct your refractive error. The dryness could be due to your chronic contact lens use. Stay off the lenses for the time being and use the lubricating drops as advised.
