Eye redness n does not recognize primary
Hi, my son is 2 years 7 months old. I want to understand by what age does kids develop eyes completely. Also what is the recommended age for eye checkup for vision related issues. Should I worry about color blindness if my son is not recognising colors like red green blue and yellow. He can recognize pink, black, white and brown. Thank you

Hello Most of eye  development takes place in first 2 years but development is over at age of 18years. Recommended eye check up protocol for kids is at  age 1,3and 5 years and then annual eye examination Your son is too young to get his colour vision assessed.. For more information you can read my health tip on "when and why your child needs an eye examination" available on practo healthfeed Regards
