  4. Eye infection. Might be something else?

Hi, my baby is 10 months old, i saw some reddishness in his both the eyes, we consulted a doc in bangalore doc said it is conjunctivitis, she prescribed drops for 5 days after cleaning with sterile or distilled water. But now today is the second day, i don't see much improvement and i can see a very thin layer starting on the eye ball. What it can be? Is it only the infection or it might be something else?

Hello A. Conjunctivitis will take 7-10 days for full resolution B. It usually preogress for first 2-3 days and then decreases C. Keep using medicines as prescribed by your ophthalmologist D.. Having said that, kindly share photos of his eyes so that I may guide you better Regards

Vigamox eye drops 5-6times+ Tobrex eye drops 5-6 times for few days &if you are not satisfied ,you consult another ophthalmologist.
