Extraction of impacted tooth
I consulted w/ an orthodontist & a dental surgeon. Ortho said for us to proceed w/braces, the impacted tooth must be taken out. The xray was reviewed by the oral surgeon&said it is a high risk case bec of 1. Lower part impacted tooth is close to the nerve, i might if the surgery goes south w/ affect the nerve&id be numb, 2. upper part impacted is close to sinus. Should i still proceed with the procedure?

Such high risk impacted teeth are generally left as they are. Regarding orthodontic treatment I don't think deep impacted third molar teeth don't pose any problem.take opinion from another orthodontost
