Today I completed 40 days after my normal delivery.
Can I resume the exercise now?
Is jogging and elliptical training advisable? Or should I wait a few more days ?

It has to be a gradual building up of your exercise schedule. Start with a walk and then go to a brisk walk within 2-3 days.
You should do only those exercises which you were doing before pregnancy.
