Every health issue considered rare
I'm told I am a freak of nature, everything that happens to me, medically, is, I'm told, very rare. I have secondary adrenal insuf., diabetes insip, & a few others, Inside 9 mos. I had 8 shunt surgeries, 3 types of staph @ same time (whole time) turned to severe sepsis turned to bacterial meningitis, repeatedly misdiagnosed, sent home over & over etc. My question is, the entire time I never ran a fever except for a few hours after onset of meningitis, would like to hear why, any ideas?

Hi All meningitis won't present with fever. Some minimum number of people may be present only with  neck tightness, fits and headache. Thanks
