My son 10 yr had dengue in NS1 antigen test a week back. He took paprica and a viral antibiotic for 4 days and lots of fluids.
Now is fine and today's report got platelets 3.7Lacs. WBC 9400. BUT HIS EUSINOPHILS IS 18% Which is abv normal range. Is there anything to worry ?
It's range shows 2% -6%....but my son got 18% ...
Is thr anything to worry ?
Does this usually happen after dengue fever ?
Will EUSINOPHILS come to its normal range itself ?
Pls help.

Hi
High eosinophils may suggest allergy or worms,
Repeat the test after a few days and consider deworming,
Warm regards
