An endometrial biopsy is mandatory to rule out malignancy if Endometrial thickness is more than 4 mm at 56 yrs of age.
Depending upon the results of biopsy, treatment is offered.
Other risk factors like your weight, history of thyroid, diabetes and Hypertension and detailed family history of malignancy are also needed for further management plan.
