1) Thyroid medicine should be taken on day of blood test ? 2) Thyroid tests to be done empty stomach or not ? I fail to understand why there is difference of opinion in such basic thing. Tablet should be taken everyday, even on testing day Traditionally thyroid levels were checked empty stomach, however now we have ultra sensitive lab machine mostly everywhere that's why fasting itself is not a criteria anymore.
