Emergency contraceptive pill
I took contraceptive pill Unwanted 72 on 18th oct i.e after 24 hours of unprotected sex. I had some headache as a side effect of it for 2 days. My concern is that I read online that many had bleeding after taking the pill in 3-4 days but I didn't get any bleeding till now What should I do? How will I get to know that pill worked or not?

hi.. u haven't mentioned about ur last menstrual period as the withdrawl bleeding that some women get post i pill depends on what phase of the cycle u have consumed the pill. Not to have bleeding is also normal. To confirm u will have to wait till the next period date that u are expecting. In case u delay u need to do a home pregnancy test and subsequently follow up with gynaecologist
Next Steps
visit obstetrician if periods get delayed
