Ectopic pregnancy and pregnancy mass
I had an ectopic pregnancy last month and was given mtx. My hcg is now 2 from 600 when mtx was given.
The mass is still the same size as it was in the beginning.
My doctor says we will observe for 4-6 weeks more and see if it goes down by then
Should I wait till the mass goes down or should I go for laparoscopy?

You can wait for 4-6 wks the mxt is working because the levels of hcg is dropping
Pls do regular follow up with hcg till negative
Don’t worry
If b hcg increasing or plateau then can go for laparoscopic removal
