Ectopic pregnancy
5weeks ago i was advised to take methotrexate 2.5mg for 5 days to get rid of ectopic pregnancy. i had lower back pain for past 4 weeks and blood flow as well, but since couple of days i am having pain in lower left side of abdomen which intensifies while urinating..is it normal or need usg. Please advise

After giving methotrexate inj we monitor the serum beta HCG levels, if it's declining, the ectopic is resolving. If not, then we either repeat the dose or do a surgery. What was done in your case? In case the pain is more, it's better to get an ultrasound if your hcg levels were not evaluated
