Early periods after taking unwanted 72

Me and my girlfriend had a few sessions of unprotected sex on 5th August. Within 5 hours she popped an unwanted 72. 8 days later. 13th august(since yesterday) she is having some kind of period. Is this normal after taking contraceptive pills?

Yes it is normal the get spotting after taking emergency contraceptive pills however if she misses periods better get a pregnancy test done. Also if there is any excessive abdominal pain consult a Gynaecologist
