Early Miscarriage
Hi,
I had perfect heart beat till 6 weeks. After that, I noticed few blood spots and went for scan
4 weeks after my heart beat scan. That time I was told that growth had stopped 2 weeks before only i.e. Instead of 10 weeks, it was only 8 weeks old. Heart beat was also not there and hence it was a miscarriage.
The doctor had advised to take folic acid tablets 3 months before conceiving and continue during pregnancy too.
My query is: in addition to folic acid, should have I also taken progesterone tablets which could have prevented the miscarriage, even though it was not prescribed by the doctor.
