Early lactation in pregnancy
I am 25 yrs women with 31 weeks 1day pregnancy...and I concerned about my early lactation .....I had few drops of fluid coming out from right breast from 7th month onwards but today it happened with the left breast...i have a single umbilical artery but the baby seems to be find is this lactation related to this problem.I just had a drop dripping out ....and my gyencologist suggested me to get a serum prolactin done before next visit....can u please reply me as soon as possible...

Minimal breast milk secretion is not rare in pregnancy.
Sometimes its just normal.
Rarely it can suggest fetal compromise.
Get a scan done for fetal growth and Doppler's.maintain strict daily fetal movement count.
If scan and movements r fine...then don't worry about d secretion.
Pls don't try to express n stimulate breast to look if milk is coming..that will defntly cause more milk to come
